Fast Healing

Posted June 1, 2013 / 10:00 p.m.

Many of us notice that as we age, we heal more slowly. As for our kids, slow to form, long-lasting scabs are tempting to pick, which also slows the healing process.

Thanks to my friend, Dusty -- who's very eco-conscious -- I found a little miracle worker that will heal your wounds so quickly it will make your head spin. And the best part -- it's an herbal salve!

Try the Tea Tree Salve by Wise Woman Herbals. With ingredients like black walnut, tea tree oil, beeswax and extra virgin olive oil, Neosporin doesn't hold a candle to this stuff.

Let's just say you put it on a cut or abrasion and within hours, a scab
forms. Reapply the salve on the scab and within a couple of days,
most wounds are completely healed.

Who doesn't want to experience quick healing? Give it a try --
you'll be amazed with the results!

  1. Thanks! Where can this be purchased? Locally or online? I'm going to give this a try. You know you're starting to sound like Oprah. You suggest things that are enlightening and we all feel the urge to go out and get it :)

  2. I bought some from my naturopath once for around $10. My friend got me some as well, so I am guessing that it can be found at local health food stores or at Whole Foods. If not, Harvest Moon Natural Foods -- the health food store I frequent -- will order products not on their store shelves as a courtesy to their customers.

  4. Angie, are you speaking of a moisturizing product with tea tree oil in it or just the tea tree essential oil alone? Tea tree essential oil is quite pungent smelling...I would never recommend pouring it on your skin or it will definitely get irritated.
